When we learn to love ourselves defects and all, we can begin to live our lives to the fullest. Said more easily than done, though.

People who believe they must resemble the models on magazine covers own some of the burden for their fears. This is so because certain looks are promoted as social standards by the media and celebrities through the use of Photoshopped and manipulated images.

Some people will do all in their power to alter the perception of themselves that others have of them and refuse to allow ridiculous standards determine their beauty.

Amelia has received nasty comments from others due of her weight. Her mother knew she would become a “big” woman because she had known her daughter was overweight for her age from infancy. She was later picked on, though, because so many people thought she was adorable and kind as a child.

Amelia spent her days playing video games in her room till Sean arrived because she felt alone and unwelcome.

Their unadulterated existence triumphed against all the obstacles to result in a proposal and a modest wedding. Worldwide acceptance and empowerment movements were launched by their narrative.

Their rather creative rewriting of the rules of love demonstrates that love is resilient to all obstacles.
