American citizens are urged to reject Satan and embrace Jesus by a veteran who removed a statue of Satan…
Michael Cassidy, the valiant Christian veteran who recently demolished the Satanic Temples’ statue of Baphomet at the Iowa State Capitol, strongly urged his fellow Americans to reevaluate their cultural values and reject the influence of Satan in an engrossing interview with Human Events’ Jack Posobiec
Cassidy’s distress about the concerning response he has received is the reason behind his call to action. Remarkably, he has received a flurry of hate mail from people who are either sympathetic to Satanism or refuse to recognize the evil that is linked with Satan and the indecency of having sculptures of him in public areas.
Cassidy commented, “I’ve received both positive and negative feedback, which has been quite remarkable,” in response to this conflicting reception. A few voices who choose to remain anonymous have praised my strong opposition to Satanism and acknowledged the decline of our culture. That in and of itself has been encouraging.
Cassidy, though, did not hold back when discussing the unsettling backlash he has received as a result of his conduct. He recalled, “Satanismists and others who support them have also sent me a good deal of hate mail. It’s incredible—when I refer to “hate mail,” I mean offensive communications sent by trolls on Twitter and phony Facebook profiles.
Cassidy cited a particularly moving example when he related a letter he received from a furious father in Iowa who was upset that he was unable to give his daughter the satanic idol anymore. “I got a message from a father who was sad that the statue wasn’t there anymore,” Cassidy revealed. That day, he had intended to show his daughter the Satan monument.
Cassidy is adamant that the matter at hand is extremely important. He emphasizes the need to keep icons and idols hidden from view by arguing that their presence in public settings can have far-reaching effects. “People need to understand the profound impact these icons can have on our society,” he said.
Cassidy summed up his interview by restating his straightforward but sincere message: “I want people to reject Satan and embrace Jesus Christ.” This ought to be the main takeaway. Seeing a want to expose kids to such evil is depressing.
Cassidy emphasized throughout the discussion how critical it is to mold the views of the next generation, saying, “We must always focus on children because they are impressionable.” They will carry your beliefs with them throughout their life if you can influence them while they are young and inculcate certain ideals in them.
Michael Cassidy’s unshakable adherence to his faith serves as a potent reminder to all Americans to ponder their beliefs and take into account the impact they have on the future of our society in a world where values are frequently questioned.
